This is the main entrance and the only one for the raft and caving routes. Other routes start from Vico del Grottone or Via Monte di Dio, and our directions page explains how to reach each one.

Galleria Borbonica: Visitor Guidelines

Arrival: Get to your entrance about 15 minutes before your start time and have your booking ready. Groups set off on schedule.

Age Limits: On the raft route, children must be at least 10 and come with an adult, and those aged 10 to 15 need to show ID. The caving route is for over-18s only.

Health: The raft and caving routes are not suitable if you're claustrophobic or have mobility problems, and the caving route has a 100 kg weight limit.

On the raft and caving routes you're given a helmet with a torch or headlamp.

There's no café or food inside the tunnels, so plan meals around your tour.

If you're driving, the Morelli car park has an entrance straight into the tunnel.

The classic tour and the Palazzo Serra di Cassano route are generally fine. The raft and caving routes go through narrow tunnels and are not recommended.
