Opening Hours and Info Tickets – Herculaneum (Ercolano)
Operational hours at the Herculaneum archaeological site are managed seasonally to align with the natural daylight required to illuminate its ancient villas and mosaics. While the gates typically open in the early morning, closing times shift between the summer and winter months to ensure visitor safety across the uneven Roman terrain. To guarantee a complete tour of the ruins, guests are encouraged to arrive well before the final entry cut-off and check for any temporary adjustments due to ongoing excavation work or local holidays.
